The Art of Spooky: Runway Cemetery

The cover for “The Terminal People” is a from a scene not actually in the book; it features a jumbo jet flying over a graveyard located near the airport. The cemetery is actually where Spooky’s mom is buried, but the point was to associate the creepiness of an empty cemetery with an empty airport terminal. This worked better than a concourse with tombstones in it, but I’d still like to render that one day.
