Spooky’s New Cover: Beneath the Hoodie

The following cover image was originally going to be the cover for the second book, “The Terminal People.” I had considered putting a new version of Spooky on each one until I started working on some other cover concepts. I actually have six stories in mind right now, one published, another written, and outlines for four more, and the cover concepts for those were location shots with supernatural elements.

So here’s the new cover replacing the original. This second cover really doesn’t show what I wanted it to for the next book, plus those who’ve seen this already think it’s a creepier cover than the original. I love the front of the book shop and may reuse that later in the series with something else, but happy, creepy, little dead boy in the bookshop pretty much says everything I wanted to about introducing this character. If you haven’t seen it yet, click and watch the series ebook trailer.
